Project Summary

Construction and installation of a 486 m Direct Pipe trenchless crossing beneath an existing urban park facility and geohazard. The crossing comprised of NPS 48, 19.1 mm WT Gr. 483 pipe which was constructed to an oil and gas (CSA-Z662) standard. The scope of work included pipe and parent coating procurement, pipe welding, thruster frame welding (CWB), non-destructive examination, internal and external girth weld coating, pullback, and lifting support, and testing and disposal of drilling waste.
